D.U.I.A. - Dynamic Updates for Internet Addressing

Before using or subscribing to duiadns, please review the following terms and conditions which define your rights, responsibilities, and benefits as a user of duiadns Services.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Duiadns provides a Dynamic DNS Service, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms of Service.

2. PRIVACY POLICY

Duiadns is committed to protecting your personal information. We want our services to be safe and enjoyable environments for everyone. This paragraph aims to help you to understand what information we might collect about you and how we use it.

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

Cookies are small text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded and may be stored on your user device e.g. your computer (or other internet enabled devices, such as a smartphone or tablet).

COOKIES USED ON THE WEBSITE

Duiadns uses cookies for login purposes only. To be more specific, you'll see a cookie called PHPSESSID from www.duiadns.net. If you reject the cookies on www.duiadns.net, you may still browse the website but you won't be able to login.

There are also third party cookies on our website from Google analitycs but Duiadns has no access to or control over these cookies. You can prevent Google's collection and use of data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under this link. STORAGE AND PROCESSING OF DATA
When you register a Duiadns account we ask for the following information:

• Name (we never ask for identity or passport card)
• Email address (this should be valid since we send confirmation mail)

Besides these two information that a user voluntarily provides to Duiadns, we also save in the database:

• the registration/confirmation ip address
• every DNS update, the pair (IP address - Hostname)

Since we offer a dynamic dns service and a customer may use a subdomain of duiadns shared domains (duia.us, duia.eu, duia.ro) to reveal records that are illegal, obscene, indecent, defamatory or violates the rights of others, we need every DNS update to be saved in order to fight against abuses and prevent them whenever is possible.

Duiadns will never transfer your personal information (name / mail / IP address) to any third parties but will always be open to colaborate with authorities in case of abuses. If your account is active or expired you will be able to delete it anytime you want going to (SETTINGS -> DELETE ACCOUNT) and all the information from our database, associated with your account, will be erased. But if your account is disabled, meaning our terms and conditions were violated and your account is associated with any sort of abuse, you'll not be able to delete your account until the investigation is finished.

Your password is/will always be kept encrypted in our database and we will never ask for your password.

3. THE CUSTOMERS CONDUCT AND USE

The Customer agrees:

• not to use duiadns service for illegal or unlawful purposes,
• not to cause loss or create service degradation for other duiadns' users whether intentional or inadvertent,
• not to use a subdomain of any duiadns shared domains (duia.us, duia.eu, duia.ro, duia.in, duia.pw etc.) to reveal records that are illegal, obscene, indecent, defamatory or violates the rights of others,
• not to select or use a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person,
• not to use the rights of any person other than himself without authorization,
• is fully responsible for the content hosted on duiadns subdomains he/she registers (*.duia.ro, *,duia.us, *duia.eu etc.),
• every duiadns subdomain that points to a server's ip address, rather it is a VPS (virtual private server) or a full physical root server, might be deleted without any warning and the duiadns account suspended.

4. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

Duiadns reserves the right to remove any user provided records that comes to its attention and that it believes, in its sole discretion, is illegal, obscene, indecent, defamatory, incites racial or ethnic hatred or violates the rights of others. Duplicate accounts and accounts using temporary email address will be disabled. Because we must keep our servers running at top speed, free accounts that have more then 12 dns updates in a single day and free accounts older then 6 months that have exclusively static DNS entries may also be disabled. While your account is disabled, all your hostnames are erased and may be registered by others!

5. APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms of Service shall be deemed performed in and governed by the laws of Romania.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All rights, titles and interests in and to the duiadns service shall at all time remain with duiadns.
